Dr. Aziz Dwaik is lying in a Zionist hospital after deteriorating in his healthy situation

Dr. Aziz Salem Murtada Dweik "Abu Hashem" was born on December 1, 1948. He holds three Masters degrees in Education, City Planning and Regional Planning. The founder of the Geography Department at al-Najah University, he acted as Public Relations Official at the Patients Friend Society and he had a leading role in supervising several Masters theses and PhD dissertations. Dweik holds PhD in Regional and Architecture Planning from the US University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Married and father of seven children. Dweik was arrested in the Israeli occupation prisons five times in a row and was one of the 400 Palestinians who were deported to Marj al-Zuhur for one year at the end of 1992. During that experience, he was the spokesperson of the deportees.

Ezzedeen Al Qassam brigades, 6.11.07. The wife of the President of the Legislative Council Dr. Aziz Dwaik, who is detained in the Zionist jails, announced that her husband was transferred to Al Ramla hospital for a medical check after a deteriorating in his healthy situation. His wife said that she visited her husband on Monday in the hospital two days ago. Dr. Dwaik told her that he suffers from diabetes and problems in his kidney, in addition to acute otitis.

Dwaik, 59 years, was arrested with 42 deputies from Hamas last year .

According to Dwaik's wife "He wasn't infected with diabetes before. He suffered from this disease in the prison four months ago."

The wife said that the Zionist doctors in Al Ramla hospital informed her that her husband will remain in the hospital for two weeks in order to complete additional laboratory tests.

For his part, Ayman Daraghma, the deputy of Hamas in the Legislative council, accused the Zionist administration in targeting Dr. Dwaik because of his presidency to the Palestinian legislative council. "The Zionist administration pressure on him in prison more than other detainees, which led to deteriorate his healthy situation."

Daraghma said that one of the Palestinian doctors checked Dr. Dwaik before awhile and recommended execute Catheter operation to him.

He added, "The Zionist prison administration deals with Dr. Aziz Dwaik harshly and pressures on him more than other deputies by the continuing transferring from one prison to another in a very harsh conditions as a form of psychological pressure."

Two dead as Brigades clash with Israeli undercover units near Gaza City

Gaza – Ma'an – 01.10.07. Israeli forces have allowed a Palestinian medical team to recover the bodies of two Palestinians who were killed in the eastern district of Gaza City on Sunday, Palestinian medical sources said on Monday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the bodies of Ahmad Al-Ammuri, 23, and Bilal Abu Shakyan, 20, from Jabalia had been found.

The military wing of the Hamas movement, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced the death of two of their members during clashes with Israeli forces in eastern Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since midnight on Sunday Israeli undercover units have been advancing into eastern Jabalia and Gaza City. Israeli helicopters have been constantly patrolling the area and armed clashes have erupted between the Palestinian fighters and Israeli troops.

The military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, An- Nasser Salah Addin Brigades claimed that they conducted fierce clashes with Israeli undercover units at 4 o'clock on Monday morning.

Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades also said they clashed with Israeli undercover units in eastern Jabalia. The Brigades claimed they fired explosive devices at the Israeli units.

The Al-Qassam Brigades claimed they saw Israeli helicopters evacuating injured soldiers.

The Israeli authorities admitted on Monday morning that one soldier had been wounded.

IDF troops kill 2 Hamas militants in overnight gunbattle in Gaza

Haaretz, 01.10.07. Israel Defense Forces troops killed two Hamas militants on Monday in an overnight gunbattle in the Gaza Strip, a Hamas official said.

The IDF said troops shot two armed Palestinian militants who attacked them inside Gaza not far from the border fence. One soldier was lightly wounded by gunfire, the military said.

The fataliies were named as Jabalya refugee camp residents Ahmed Al-Amudi, 23 and Bilel Abu-Shehian, 20.

Last week, a Hamas official said that 50,000 Palestinian gunmen and hundreds of suicide bombers were prepared to repel or at least impede any large-scale Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip.

The official's statement came one day after 12 Palestinians were killed in separate Israel Defense Forces and Israel Air Force strikes within the coastal territory.

A Qassam ambush in the Gaza Strip against the occupation soldiers

A Zionist special force from the Zionist occupation army was ambushed when it was trying to sneak to Jabalia camp, by Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", which caused casualties, in the early morning of Monday.

Al Qassam Brigades said that the Zionist special forces were moving on foot behind the cemetery east of the Jabalia camp (northern Gaza Strip), when the Mujahideen surprised it and detonated two explosive devices. Then they clashed with the Zionist forces.

According to a communiqué issued by Al Qassam Brigades, the operation began after the midnight on Monday. The Mujahideen ambushed Zionist forces behind the cemetery east of the eastern Jabalia. The mujahideen detonate two explosive devices and clashed face to face with the soldiers.

Qassam sources reported that the soldiers was heard screaming and the Helicopters were landing to took out the injures. Also, A huge number of vehicles attacked the area of the operation to save the injured soldiers.

Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades, 01/10/07.Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that this operation came as a response to the continued Zionist attacks in the Gaza Strip and a defense to any violation in the liberated Strip.

Al-Qassam Added " After the declaration of this operation, we warned the Zionist enemy of any trying to attack any part of the Gaza Strip as our responses will be harsh and painful to the occupations' soldiers and vehicles …"

Al-Qassam Brigades mourns the death of two mujahideen in the operation: Bilal Jamal Abu Shkiyan ,22 years from Jabalia camp and Ahmed A'ish Al Amodi ,22 years from the same camp in northern Gaza Strip, who were martyred when they detonate two explosive devices on Zionist special forces. After that, they clashed with the Zionist occupation forces.

The Zionist media admitted the injured of one soldier in the operation and Al-Qassam Brigades expected a huge number of injures and deaths inside the Zionist soldiers.
