A former Palestinian minister warns of PA collapse if power struggle continues

Former Palestinian information minister, Mustafa Barghouti, warned on Thursday of likely collapse of the Palestinian Authority (PA), unless Hamas-Fatah power struggle comes to an end. The former minister revealed that some forces within both Fatah and Hamas had also played a role in thwarting the Mecca deal, the two parties signed in February 8, voicing the belief that such forces have only helped out Israel's plans to further besiege and boycott the unity government, which 'won the support of 96 percent of the Palestinian people'.
